About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Developer (.NET) to join our Common Cloud Services (CCS) team. In this role, you will design and build scalable, high‑performance, multi‑tenant backend services while collaborating closely with engineering peers across the global Sitecore ecosystem.

The ideal candidate acts as an active driver of technical delivery, engineering quality, DevOps excellence, and cross‑team collaboration. You will lead the design, development, and optimization of distributed systems and APIs, work closely with other senior engineers, participate in technical and architectural discussions, and strengthen your expertise in microservices architecture, CI/CD, and cloud‑native development—demonstrating strong ownership and autonomy throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using C#/.NET, delivering high‑quality code that adheres to Sitecore engineering standards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, consistent, and frequent deployments using GitHub Actions or equivalent systems.
• Develop comprehensive automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) to ensure robustness and maintainability across services.
• Work with cloud‑native technologies including Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, and distributed messaging (Kafka) to support multi‑tenant, high‑performance architectures.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering Manager, Product Owner, Lead Developer, QA, and cross‑functional teams to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical design.
• Act as a proactive driver of engineering quality and delivery by participating in architectural discussions, reviewing code, sharing best practices, and supporting departmental upskilling.

• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET with solid understanding of object‑oriented design, modern architectures, and clean code principles (SOLID, refactoring).
• Hands‑on experience with Git, collaborative branching strategies, and modern development workflows.
• Proven experience building cloud‑based, containerized solutions using Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems patterns.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing practices, and DevOps‑oriented delivery.
• Solid understanding of relational or NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization using profiling tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset—aligning with Senior Developer expectations for influence, autonomy, and cross‑team contribution.

• Proactive attitude and solution minded.
• Outside of the box thinker with strong critical thinking skills.
• Experience working in a SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with multi‑tenant cloud provisioning or distributed systems at scale.
