Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Involved in system analysis, design, coding, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and maintenance of critical modules.
2. Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules and libraries for future use.
3. Provide process improvement recommendations based on best practices and industry standards.
4. Implement current best technologies to improve the scalability of the company's products.
5. Integrate systems with third-party services.
6. Maintain accurate project timelines, estimates, and status reports.
7. Collaborate with the front-end team to enhance backend-frontend integration, ensuring functional stability.
8. Provide creative solutions to current business requirements/problems through system planning and execution.
9. Work with team members to solve programming problems and issues.

Requirements:

• A degree or passion for programming.
• We value your work and skills over formal qualifications.
• At least 4 years of experience in web development using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).

• Strong experience with PHP Laravel framework; knowledge of ThinkPHP is a plus.

• Languages required: Mandarin and English. Must be able to speak Mandarin as we have clients from Hong Kong/China.

• Extensive experience working with frontend developers, translating UI/UX visuals into applications using React.

• Good knowledge of Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, ReactJS, and Node.js.

• Experience in solving problems of varying complexity.

• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools (GIT), and developing web services.

• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision, providing regular updates on assigned tasks.

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.

• Experience as a System Analyst or Software Architect.

• Strong troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Ability to mentor and lead junior developers.

• Willing to work in USJ 21, Subang Jaya.
• Preferably senior-level candidates specializing in IT/Computer Software or equivalent.
