Job summary
A leading legal firm in Malaysia seeks a Legal Manager to handle all legal/contract matters. Responsibilities include managing contracts, providing legal advisory to stakeholders, and conducting legal trainings. Candidates must have a degree in Law, 10+ years of experience, and preferably be qualified to practice law in Malaysia. An advanced knowledge of corporate and contract law is essential. This role offers a competitive salary and the chance to work in a diverse legal environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum ten years’ experience practicing law, ideally in-house or in a law firm.
- Qualified to practice law, admission to the Malaysian Bar preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and IT/software-related law.
Responsibilities
- Manage resolution of legal/contract matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Provide legal advisory to internal stakeholders.
- Manage internal legal contract database.
