The Clinic Manager is responsible for commissioning, launching, and managing the day-to-day operations of Avisena’s new Specialist Clinic in Cyberjaya. This role is central to driving the brand's market entry and operational excellence, ensuring the clinic delivers high-quality, patient-centric healthcare while achieving business goals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Leadership and Strategic Execution
- Lead the commissioning process of the clinic, including infrastructure setup, licensing, vendor coordination, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Translate Avisena’s strategic goals into actionable plans for the clinic.
- Drive brand visibility and patient acquisition in Cyberjaya through community engagement and collaboration with marketing.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics (patient flow, service quality, efficiency) and take corrective actions as needed.
- Represent the clinic in meetings, public engagements, and strategic discussions.
Stakeholder Management- Maintain cooperative relationships among healthcare teams through effective communication, rapport-building, and team problem-solving.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor/collaborator performance.
- Work closely with PIC to ensure excellent clinical care to patients.
Customer Experience Management- Ensure a culture of excellence in patient care and service delivery.
- Resolve patient complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction and brand reputation.
- Implement patient feedback mechanisms to improve services.
- Maintain rapport with patients, caregivers, and the community.
Technical and Clinical Operations- Oversee implementation of clinical SOPs, infection control standards, and quality assurance processes.
- Coordinate with medical specialists and health professionals for timely services.
- Ensure equipment, facilities, and IT systems are operational and maintained.
- Liaise with the corporate office for technical upgrades and clinical governance.
Human Resource and Staff Management- Recruit, onboard, and supervise clinic staff including front desk, nurses, and administrative personnel.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, appraisals, and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive work culture, staff engagement, and team collaboration.
- Ensure staff adherence to policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., MOH, MMC).
Planning and Budgeting- Create and implement budgets related to clinic operations, staffing, resources, and revenue.
- Ensure optimal scheduling for specialists to maximize efficiency.
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives to enhance branding and revenue.
- Participate in recruitment, providing market-driven insights.
Academic Qualification
Diploma / Degree in any related field.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the healthcare field.
- Minimum 2 years in managerial or supervisory roles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in BM and English languages.
Other Requirements
- SRN registered with Malaysian Nursing Board (optional) – clinical background is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and interact at all levels.
- Willingness to work beyond normal hours.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
