This role involves designing domain-centric APIs, ensuring seamless integration, and participating in CI/CD processes. Candidates should have a solid background in Java, API development, and integration design patterns, complemented by effective collaboration skills in a hybrid work environment.

The Opportunity:
Join us as an API & Integration Senior Developer within the Asia Pacific region. You will build and test APIs and integrations, contributing to a new end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform designed for automation and straight-through processing across the insurance value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements and optimal integration/API solutions.
- Design domain-centric APIs.
- Develop and test integrations.
- Create external APIs using REST/JSON.
- Document APIs with Swagger.
- Troubleshoot integrations and analyze defects.
- Participate in CI/CD processes, including configuration management, automated builds, and unit testing.
- Collaborate with other teams on system integration details (internal & external).
Your Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of programming experience.
- Proficiency in Java with Spring Boot.
- Experience with Spring Cloud.
- Familiarity with AWS components like S3, SQS.
- Strong skills in API development with REST/JSON, Swagger, and Postman.
- Experience with JIRA and SonarQube.
- Knowledge of object-oriented modeling.
- Understanding of IT project delivery, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
Skills:
- Experience with integration design patterns.
- Interest in emerging technologies and in-depth investigation of new tools.
