Job summary
A leading IT services company based in Malaysia is seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment and software. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Information Technology and 1-2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration. Responsibilities include providing technical support to staff, ensuring optimal performance of systems, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role is essential for ensuring effective IT operations within the company.
Qualifications
- Diploma and above in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data protection practices.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of infrastructure and network equipment.
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintain IT documentation and prepare basic daily and weekly reports.
