Job description

The VP, Corporate Finance will play a key leadership role in identifying, developing, and executing the company's long-term strategic initiatives, with a focus on driving growth through new ventures, partnerships, acquisitions, and innovation. The individual will collaborate with senior management to align the company’s objectives with market opportunities, ensuring long‑term competitive advantage and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the formulation, execution, and refinement of the company's long-term corporate strategy.
  • Identify emerging trends, market shifts, and potential disruptions to shape and future‑proof the organization’s strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with the executive leadership team to ensure alignment between strategy and business objectives.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and experimentation across the organization.
  • Identify and champion breakthrough innovations that could lead to new products, services, or business models.
  • Work closely with technical, operations, supply chain, corporate affairs and other key stakeholders to bring innovative solutions to market.
3. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

Oversee the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A, joint ventures, partnership and divestment opportunities that align with corporate strategy and lead cross‑functional teams through the M&A process.

4. Corporate Development and Partnerships
  • Lead the strategic development of partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to enhance the company’s competitive position.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, investors, and stakeholders to foster opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives that address new business opportunities, organizational transformation, or competitive positioning.
  • Assess investment proposals and capital projects to ensure alignment with financial returns, risk appetite, and overall strategic priorities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of new ventures and strategic projects to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Assess the company’s investment portfolio and provide recommendations on continuation, expansion, divestment, or exit strategies.
  • Optimize resource allocation across strategic initiatives to maximize value creation and long‑term returns.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Investment Banking, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 5 years progressive experience in corporate finance & investment banking.
  • Strong track record in stakeholder management, board/executive communications, and cross‑functional leadership.
  • Excellent financial analysis and negotiation skills.
