Job summary
A manufacturing company in Selangor is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee machinery and preventive maintenance activities. The ideal candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have a minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, maintaining records, and supervising maintenance teams. This role provides opportunities for growth and further learning in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year mechanical maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Exposure to pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical systems, or PLC is a plus.
- Must be coachable with a growth mindset.
Responsibilities
- Perform machinery maintenance and preventive maintenance under supervision.
- Complete maintenance records and reports for review.
- Troubleshoot machine problems and report effectively.
- Conduct machine monitoring in absence of breakdowns.
- Supervise maintenance helpers and ensure tidiness of the workshop.
