Working Experience: 15 years with project management experience in infrastructure works

Replacement/New opening: Both

Permanent or contract staff: Permanent

Travel required: Yes, Port Klang / Johor (all expenses covered)

Responsible to: Project Director

Primary objective:

1. To manage the satisfactory execution of the project including human resource inputs.
2. The Project Manager is the prime point of contact between us and our client for operational purposes.
3. (Very often, the Project Manager's position is only for the duration of the project).
4. Assist with proposal preparation and presentation or letter of engagement for job as required by PD.
5. On award of job, plan implementation including Project Quality Plan/Environmental Management Plan and agree plan with PD including level of quality assurance/environmental control to be applied.
6. Brief Project Team.
7. Provide design input and/or site supervision oversight for the Group's projects.
8. Establish lines of communication and rapport with client.
9. Act as link with internal and external Auditor in audit of project activities including those that are required as part of compliance obligations.
10. Ensuring that the contractor fulfills the relevant compliance obligations associated with projects.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor in Engineering Degree

Minimum Related Experience: 10 years

Minimum Direct Experience: 5 years

Additional Skills/Remarks: Ability to demonstrate managerial and technical proficiency and interpersonal skills.

Must have:

1. Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
2. Able to work well with others.
3. Able to lead a team of engineers.
4. Able to write and communicate well both in Malay and English.
