Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Wire Bond Process Engineer to develop and sustain manufacturing processes with emphasis on quality, efficiency and innovation. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, provide technical problem solving, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least two years of relevant experience, with proficiency in JMP for DOE and solid data presentation skills using Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in JMP software for DOE and process analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Train, motivate and supervise a team of engineers or process technicians to achieve yields, quality and productivity.
• Provide technical support and solutions to process issues.
• Develop and monitor yield, quality, productivity improvement and cost reduction programs; manage E/Q lots.
• Develop new processes and source materials/equipment for continuous improvement.
• Review and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Update process flow and specifications reflecting changes from customers or in-house products.
• Determine standard UPH, SOP and material for new equipment/process.
• Drive VOC/VOP/MRB/CAPA improvements and update specs for control and audits.

We are looking for a talented Wire Bond Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and sustaining processes for our manufacturing operations, focusing on quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Train , motivate and supervise a team of engineers or process technicians or engineering operator to achieve process yields, quality and productivity through proper team work.

2. Provide technical support and solution to process issues.

3. Develop and monitor yield, quality, and involve productivity improvement and cost reduction programs and also E/Q lots.

4. Develop new process and source for materials, equipment for continuous break through improvement.

5. Review and ensure customer specification is complied.

6. Develop/improve process flow and update specifications to reflect changes in production by customers or in-house products

7. Determine standard UPH, standard operation procedure and material for new equipment/process.

8. Quality accountability such as VOC/VOP/MRB/CAPA improvement and update specification to reflect control and customer audit failure

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
