Job summary

Advance Jupiter Sdn Bhd is seeking a Wintel Engineer to manage Windows Server environments, AD/Exchange, and enterprise infrastructure from our Kuala Lumpur location. You will configure, monitor, and maintain servers, storage, and networks to ensure secure, reliable IT services for client environments.

The role requires 3–5 years of ICT experience, strong scripting (PowerShell) skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar ICT role.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Exchange Server management.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) and ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (PowerShell) to streamline IT operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Certifications such as MCSE, VMware, or Cisco are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups to safeguard data integrity and business continuity.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
• Document procedures and configurations to maintain consistency across IT operations.
• Contribute to automation, optimization, and best practices.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Wintel Engineer to join our team at Advance Jupiter Sdn Bhd. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Windows Servers and application infrastructure. Based on-site in Kuala Lumpur, you will leverage your expertise in systems administration and network management to ensure the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of our client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations, applications, and related infrastructure.
• Implement and manage Active Directory, Clustering, Virtualization, DNS, Remote Access, Certificate Authority (CA), DHCP Server, Group Policies, Storage, File Systems, SQL Server, .NET applications, and other enterprise-level systems.
• Monitor and maintain network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups to safeguard data integrity and ensure business continuity.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
• Document technical processes, procedures, and configurations to maintain consistency and efficiency across IT operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending automation, optimization, and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the ICT industry.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Exchange Server management.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP) and proven ability to troubleshoot network-related issues.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline IT operations.
