Job summary

Oryx Advanced Materials Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a skilled welder with SPM/Certificate or Diploma in Welding Technology. The role requires at least 1 year of TIG/GTAW welding experience on steel and stainless steel, along with the ability to operate shearing and bending machines and maintain high-quality workmanship.

You will fabricate sheet metal containers, perform TIG welding, and operate equipment such as helium leak detectors and bake-out ovens while upholding a safe working environment

Qualifications

• SPM with Certificate/Diploma in Welding Technology.
• At least 1-year experience in TIG/GTAW welding steel and stainless steel.
• Able to handle shearing & bending machines.
• Excellent work quality record.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate sheet metal containers using shear, power roller and brake.
