Job summary

SIS Speedy Industrial Sdn Bhd in Pontian, Johor, is seeking a welding operator to set up and operate MIG and TIG welds on metal structural shapes. You will read drawings to determine adjustments and tools required and ensure welded parts meet specifications.

The role requires at least one year of welding experience, ability to read drawings, and willingness to work on a rotation shift at our Pontian facility. You will maintain equipment and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of welding operator experience.
• Graduate from ILP/ADTEC/Sijil Kemahiran is encouraged to apply.
• Able to read drawings and weld to specifications.
• Knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
• Able to use standard measuring tools.
• Willing to work in Pontian and on rotation shift.

Job description

Job Requirements

• At least a year working experience as welding operator
• Previously welding operator experience is preferred
• Graduate from ILP, ADTEC or Sijil Kemahiran is encouraged to apply
• Have skills and knowledge in welding process and operating welding machine
• Can use standard measuring tools
• Can read drawings to weld specific shapes
• Willing to work in Pontian
• Able to work in rotation shift
