Performing welding and related fabrication activities to support the production . The position requires the ability to follow drawings and work instructions, operate welding equipment safely, perform accurate measurements, and ensure finished products meet quality and customer specifications.
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLSET:
- Candidate must possess at least a high school or equivalent.
- Certain adaptability to high temperature work of fire processing and glass lathe.
- Skill and knowledge of fire processing and glass lathe is an added advantage.
- §Teamwork, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and designs and certain mechanical drawings.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS :-
- Perform basic welding tasks on material using appropriate welding techniques.
- Ensure welding meets quality standards and specifications.
- Inspect welded components for defects and inconsistencies.
- Report any deviations from specifications to supervisors.
- Record welding parameters and inspection results accurately.
- Be responsible for work errors or scrapping of products caused by negligence and operation errors.
Material Preparation and Finishing
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding and fitting.
- Use measuring instruments and tools such as vernier card, micrometer, height vernier caliper, ruler, feeler ruler, thread gauge, chamfer gauge, etc. to ensure accurate dimensions and alignment.
Training Requirement
- More than 3 months training arranged for fire processing/glass lathe.
- Obtain certain theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Assessment to be conducted according to each stage of learning.
General Tasks
- Maintain documentation of work and inspection form.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and team members regarding work progress and issues.
- Ensure safety awareness of acid, alkali and other chemicals that may be exposed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area.
- Perform any duties assigned by the management.
This is a fixed-term contract employment for 6 months. If the contract is successfully completed and both sides are satisfied, there have high chances to be converted as permanent employees.
