Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated logistics support professional to assist the Weighbridge Supervisor in purchasing goods and raw materials, coordinating documentation, transportation, handling, warehousing, and inspection.

You will organize and manage daily delivery of finished products to branches and customers, and record weight checks, flagging discrepancies to the appropriate personnel while ensuring accurate records for monitoring, payments, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist Weighbridge Supervisor in purchasing goods and raw materials with proper logistics arrangements (documentation, transportation, handling, agency, warehousing, inspection).
• Organize and manage daily delivery of finished products to branches and customers.
• Record and monitor weight checking and highlight discrepancies to relevant personnel.
• Ensure accurate records of documents for monitoring, payment, and reports generation.
• Initiate troubleshooting to resolve problems arising from logistics operation.
• Perform any other tasks as directed by management.

Job description

To assist the Weighbridge Supervisor in managing the purchase process of goods and raw materials which include proper logistics arrangement such as documentation, transportation, handling, agency, warehousing and inspection.

To organize and manage effective and efficient daily delivery of finished products to branches and customers.

To record and monitor the weight checking process and highlight any discrepancies or variation to relevant person.

To ensure accurate records of all documents are kept for monitoring purposes, payment purposes and reports generation.

To initiate trouble shooting to resolve problems arising from logistics operation.

To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
