Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) invites applications for a Production Maintenance Technician to support continuous operations in our Johor facilities. The role focuses on repair and maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime, and to drive continuous improvement for quality production.

The successful candidate will observe SOPs, follow safety practices, and wear PPE as required. Fresh graduates with a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Ability to handle maintenance tasks in a production environment.
• Observe and follow all Operating Procedures and ensure safety practices are adhered to at all production areas including work and repair shop.
• Ensure all workers and visitors wear PPE as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure production is not interrupted and continuous improvements effort are in place for quality products.
• Assist in monitoring and daily maintenance works to reduce machinery downtime.
• Observe and follow all Operating Procedures and ensure safety practices are adhered to at all production areas including work and repair shop.
• To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management from time to time.

Job description
