Job summary

Ecotreat Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Water Technologist to join the Sales & Service Department. You will assist with water and wastewater treatment plans, servicing, troubleshooting, site visits, and customer support.

Responsibilities include preparing quotations and technical proposals, conducting site inspections, equipment installation and commissioning, water sampling, and providing technical information to customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Water Technology, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related Science field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in water treatment, environmental technology, engineering equipment, and technical services.
• Basic understanding of water treatment processes and equipment is an advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Willing to learn and work in both office and site environments.
• Able to travel to project and customer sites when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales & Service team in handling water treatment equipment and related products.
• Support the preparation of quotations, technical proposals, product specifications, and sales documentation.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, equipment installation, testing, servicing, and commissioning when required.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to water treatment systems and equipment.
• Assist with water sampling, basic water quality testing, data collection, and preparation of test reports.
• Provide technical assistance and product information to customers.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, contractors, and internal teams on technical and service matters.
• Follow up on customer enquiries, service requests, quotations, and project requirements.
• Assist in monitoring equipment performance and recommending appropriate maintenance or solutions.
• Prepare service reports, site visit reports, equipment records, and other project documentation.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of water treatment equipment.
• Support the Sales team in product presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
• Travel to customer sites and project locations when required.
