Job summary

Ecolab Malaysia is seeking a Project Engineer for the Water Treatment team to manage project execution, timelines, budgets and customer relationships while ensuring projects meet contractual and performance requirements.

You will be the primary day-to-day contact for customers, coordinating with sales and field teams, supporting contract compliance, and delivering projects on time while maintaining strong technical knowledge of the water treatment industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in water treatment, oil & gas or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance criteria.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for customers and coordinate closely with the sales and field teams.
• Support contract compliance and fulfilment while working as an extension of the customer’s management team.
• Work closely with project developers and field organization representatives to deliver assigned projects within agreed timelines.
• Maintain strong technical knowledge of the water treatment industry and stay updated on new developments, products, research and technologies.
• Prepare and deliver clear technical and customer communications.
