Job summary

Randstad Malaysia represents an established international watch manufacturer seeking a detail-oriented entrant for the Watch Repair and Technical team.

Open to fresh graduates from Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering disciplines with a Diploma or Degree, and eager to develop specialised skills in servicing, polishing and refurbishment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble watch components following established procedures.
• Clean watch cases, bracelets and components using appropriate methods.
• Inspect components for wear and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Polish and refurbish watch cases and bracelets to restore appearance.
• Handle polishing tools carefully and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Collaborate with technicians and customer service to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

• Perform disassembly and assembly of watch components in accordance with established technical procedures.
• Carry out cleaning of watch cases, bracelets, and other components using appropriate methods.
• Conduct inspection and minor repair work to ensure components such as pins and tubes are in good condition.
• Perform polishing and refurbishment of watch cases and bracelets to restore their appearance and finishing.
• Handle polishing tools and equipment with care, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with watch repair technicians and customer service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

about the qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
• Basic understanding of mechanical components, materials, or precision tools would be advantageous.
