Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational metalwork training a plus.
• 1–3 years in deburring, polishing, sandblasting, or related manufacturing.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient with deburring, polishing, masking, and sandblasting tools.
• Basic inspection and quality control awareness.
• Able to follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety rules.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and responsible.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Capable of working in a dusty, noisy manufacturing environment; shift flexibility possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform deburring, masking, sandblasting, and polishing as per procedures and production needs.
• Inspect tools and equipment; report abnormalities and perform basic maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs to ensure product quality and worker safety.
• Classify and zone storage for components in finishing areas.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and 6S practices.
• Complete tasks as directed by supervisors with timely execution.
• Execute finishing tasks per production schedules and specs.
• Operate and maintain finishing tools with regular checks.
• Adhere to safety regulations and work procedures at all times.
• Organize storage of materials and finished products in designated zones.
• Apply 6S daily to keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and follow team leads.

Job description

1. Perform deburring, masking, sandblasting, and polishing operations according to established procedures and production requirements to ensure smooth workflow and quality standards.

2. Conduct routine inspection, proper usage, and basic maintenance of tools and equipment; promptly identify and report any abnormalities.

3. Follow all safety protocols, SOPs, and process flows to prevent workplace injuries and ensure consistent product quality.

4. Responsible for classification and zoned storage of components in deburring, sandblasting, and polishing areas.

5. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and efficiency of the workplace through 6S practices (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety).

6. Complete tasks and assignments as directed by supervisors, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

7. Execute deburring and polishing tasks according to production schedules and technical specifications.

8. Operate and maintain relevant tools and equipment efficiently, performing regular checks and reporting faults immediately.

9. Strictly adhere to safety regulations and work procedures to maintain a safe and controlled environment.

10. Organize and manage storage of materials and finished products in designated zones to support workflow efficiency.

11. Apply 6S principles daily to sustain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.

12. Collaborate effectively with team members and follow instructions from team leads and supervisors.

1. High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in metalwork, machining, or surface finishing is an advantage.

2. 1–3 years of experience in deburring, polishing, sandblasting, or related manufacturing processes. Experience in precision or aerospace components is a plus.

3. Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to identify part features, tolerances, and areas requiring deburring, masking, or polishing.

4. Proficient in using deburring, polishing, masking, and sandblasting tools.

5. Basic inspection and quality control awareness.

6. Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety regulations.

7. Self-motivated, disciplined, and responsible.

8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

9. Able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and occasional physical demands.

10. Shift flexibility may be required depending on production schedules.
