BOYE Supply Chain management Co. ltd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
You will lead local staff, implement SOPs, use WMS/ERP systems, monitor KPI like inventory accuracy, coordinate cross-border logistics with HQ, and foster a safe, cross-cultural team environment.
Comprehensively responsible for the daily operational management of the Malaysia branch warehouse, including the full workflow of receiving, warehousing, shelving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound operations, ensuring efficient and orderly warehouse operations.
Key responsibilities
Manage the complete warehouse operation workflow including receiving, inbound, shelving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound processes to ensure efficient and orderly operations
Establish and continuously optimize overseas warehouse management systems, standard operating procedures (SOP), and on-site 5S standards in accordance with headquarters supply chain management requirements
Plan warehouse space layout and storage locations rationally, optimize cargo storage solutions, and improve warehouse capacity utilization and operational efficiency
Coordinate with domestic and Southeast Asian logistics resources, manage cross-border arrivals, customs clearance, and local distribution to ensure timely cargo receipt and dispatch while reducing port and container detention costs
Manage local warehouse staff including daily management, shift scheduling, performance evaluation, and business training to build a safe, efficient, and orderly cross-cultural operational team
Use WMS/ERP systems to complete inbound and outbound document review and data entry, organize regular inventory counts to ensure consistency of accounts, cards, and physical inventory with accuracy rate not lower than 99%
Monitor inventory dynamics in real-time, identify inventory anomalies and drive improvements, and continuously propose efficiency improvement and cost reduction solutions
Liaise with headquarters and relevant domestic departments, and regularly report Malaysia warehouse operational data and key performance indicators (KPI) achievement to senior operations managers
About you
Solid warehouse operations capability with familiarity in receiving and shipping, warehouse operations, inventory counting workflows and SOP management, proficient in WMS/ERP systems with strong inventory accuracy control awareness
3 or more years of work experience in warehouse and logistics related fields; experience in overseas warehouses or automotive parts warehouse management is preferred
Management capability with ability to lead teams, including local staff shift scheduling, performance evaluation, and business training
Chinese and English can be used as working languages; multilingual ability is a plus
