Job summary

Onitsuka Tiger Malaysia is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound shipments from suppliers into Malaysia and oversee outbound distribution from our warehouse to stores and SEA markets. You will coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years in logistics, a related diploma or degree, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics with inbound and outbound shipment management.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian customs regulations for inbound shipments and SEA cross-border basics.
• Experience liaising with freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and warehouse operators.
• Proficiency with logistics/ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP and data analysis) for shipment tracking and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound shipments from origin into Malaysia, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate inbound shipment and capacity planning with suppliers and forwarders.
• Verify inbound documents for Malaysia entry (invoices, packing lists, permits, etc.).
• Manage inbound bookings with forwarders and track ETA/ETD against schedules.
• Act as main contact between suppliers and internal teams for inbound matters in Malaysia.
• Oversee outbound shipments from warehouse to stores in Malaysia and occasional SEA shipments.
• Plan and coordinate outbound bookings with transporters/forwarders for domestic distribution.
• Handle cross-border outbound shipments to SEA subsidiaries and verify related documents.
• Prioritize time-sensitive shipments for launches to ensure timely delivery.

Oversee and manage inbound shipments from origin (suppliers/factories) into Malaysia, ensuring compliance with company and Malaysian customs and regulations

Coordinate inbound shipment and resource capacity planning with suppliers and forwarders

Verify inbound shipping and customs documents (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, permits, etc.) for Malaysia entry

Manage inbound shipment bookings with forwarders and track ETA/ETD against planned schedules

Act as main point of contact between suppliers and internal stakeholders (merchandising, warehouse, logistics teams) for inbound matters into Malaysia

Outbound Logistics (Warehouse to Store, with occasional Malaysia-SEA shipments)

Oversee and manage outbound shipments from warehouse to stores across Malaysia, ensuring timely and accurate distribution to meet store replenishment and launch schedules

Manage outbound shipment and resource capacity planning for warehouse-to-store distribution

Coordinate outbound shipment bookings with transporters/forwarders for domestic distribution

Handle occasional outbound shipments from Malaysia to SEA subsidiaries, including verification of relevant shipping and customs documents for cross-border movement

Plan and prioritize shipments for special/time-sensitive items (e.g., collaboration pieces, launches) to ensure they are delivered and launched on time

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, with hands‑on exposure to both inbound and outbound shipment management
• Strong understanding of Malaysian customs regulations (for inbound) and basic knowledge of SEA cross-border customs requirements (for occasional outbound shipments)
• Experience liaising with freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and warehouse operators
• Proficiency in logistics/ERP systems NetSuite will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP and other data-lookup/analysis functions, for shipment tracking and reporting
• Strong stakeholder management skills - able to coordinate across merchandising, warehouse, and store operations teams
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to manage multiple shipments and priorities under tight timelines, especially for time-sensitive launches
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
