Job summary

Natrad Food Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily inbound and outbound activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading and dispatch. You will coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing and Logistics to ensure orders are accurate and deliveries meet schedule, while maintaining safety and food handling standards in a high-volume FMCG environment.

• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in FMCG or food distribution.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control and FEFO/FIFO.
• Experience using ERP/WMS systems.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work 5.5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading and dispatch.

• Enforce PPE compliance and maintain warehouse security and loss prevention controls.

Job description

Supervise daily inbound and outbound warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading, and dispatch.

Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and delivered according to required schedules.

Monitor warehouse productivity and order fulfillment performance.

Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flow.

Ensure proper staging and verification of goods before loading and dispatch.

2. Inventory Management & Control

Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock checks, and stock reconciliation.

Support the implementation of FIFO/FEFO practices and expiry date monitoring.

Assist in identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies, damaged stock, and stock variances for investigation and corrective action.

Monitor and report slow-moving, ageing, near-expiry, or damaged inventory to the Senior Executive, Warehouse.

Ensure inventory transactions, stock movements, and warehouse records are updated accurately in the ERP/WMS system.

Support periodic stock counts and inventory verification activities.

Assist in maintaining proper stock organization, labelling, and batch control within the warehouse.

3. Warehouse Operations Support & Coordination

Assist in coordinating daily warehouse operations and ensuring smooth workflow execution.

Perform operational warehouse tasks including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, stock replenishment, and dispatch activities as required.

Support manpower coordination to ensure daily operational requirements are achieved efficiently.

Manage attendance, overtime, and shift planning to ensure optimal productivity.

4. Food Safety, Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, cold chain procedures, and warehouse SOPs.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and implement 5S practices.

Ensure proper handling and storage of chilled, frozen, and ambient products.

Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.

Ensure damaged, returned, or non-conforming products are properly identified and segregated.

5. Safety & Security

Enforce workplace safety policies and safe operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Ensure PPE compliance among all warehouse personnel.

Investigate operational incidents and recommend preventive actions.

Maintain warehouse security, stock protection, and loss prevention controls.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in FMCG, food distribution, chilled or frozen products.

Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and FEFO/FIFO principles.

Experience using ERP/WMS systems.

Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with warehouse safety and food handling requirements.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.

Candidates must be willing to work 5.5 days per week.
