Job summary

Gosford Leather Industries in Kampong Tampoi, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities, supervise staff, and ensure timely delivery of products. The role requires a diplo­ma/PMR-SPM or above, at least 2 years in warehouse operations, and forklift capability.

Placement is on-site in Tampoi. Applicants should be able to drive forklift, manage stock information, and liaise with transport vendors while maintaining documentation per SOPs.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma holder in any field.
• At least 2 years of experience in day-to-day warehouse operation.
• Able to drive forklift.
• Willing to work in Kawasan Perindustrian Tampoi Jaya.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises daily warehouse activities relating to ordering, receiving, storing, inventory control, issue and shipment of products.
• Plans and assigns duties to warehouse staff and supervises their work. Trains warehouse staff when deemed necessary.
• Ensures prompt and cost-effective delivery of products. Inspect packages prior to dispatch to ensure completeness of order.
• Maintains stock information and monitors daily product movement and actual distribution schedules versus inventory level.
• Manages expired and recalled products and samples in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Orders packaging materials and warehouse store supplies as required.
• Ensures accurate picking, cross-checking and packing by warehouse staff.
• Liaises with transport vendor on day operations issues.
• Ensures warehouse documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with established procedures.

• Maintains stock information and monitors daily product movement and actual distribution schedules versus inventory level.
• Ensures that periodic cycle and special inventory counts are carried out and book inventories with physical stock are reconciled.
• Manages expired and recalled products and samples in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Orders packaging materials and warehouse store supplies as required.
• Ensures accurate picking, cross-checking and packing by warehouse staff.
• Liaises with transport vendor on a day operations issues.
• Ensures warehouse documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with established procedures.
• Recommends improvements to warehouse practices and documentation.
• Ensures warehouse staff follows, and adhere to documented processes, procedures and internal Quality Management System.
• Responsible for the housekeeping of the warehouse. Ensures that high housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Maintains database integrity. Provides monthly statistics and reports on warehouse transactions and activities to management.
• Ensures all the activities comply with ethical standards and the internal Quality Management System.

Job Requirements :-

• SPM or Diploma holder in any field
• At least 2 years of experience in day-to-day warehouse operation
• Able to drive forklift
• Preferably candidates with manufacturing background
• Applicant must be willing to work in Kawasan Perindustrian Tampoi Jaya
