Job summary

GSP Automotive Technology Sdn Bhd in Kulai, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control and team activities. You will coordinate receiving, storage, picking, issuing and dispatching to ensure timely, accurate material flow.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor degree in logistics or related field, with 3–5 years of warehouse experience and at least 1–2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1-2 years of supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred, while automotive manufacturing experience will be an advantage.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control and team supervision.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are strongly preferred and willing to accept a 6-day work week are greatly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, issuing and dispatching of materials and products.
• Inventory control - Monitor stock levels, inventory movement and stock accuracy to ensure proper inventory control.
• Receiving & Issuing - Ensure incoming and outgoing materials are properly checked, recorded and handled according to company procedures.
• Stock Taking & Cycle Count - Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts and physical inventory to maintain accurate stock records.
• Warehouse Organization - Ensure proper arrangement, identification and storage of materials to maintain a clean, organized and efficient warehouse.
• Team Supervision - Supervise, guide and train warehouse personnel to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• System & Documentation - Ensure warehouse transactions, inventory records, delivery documents and other relevant documentation are accurately maintained.
• Material Handling - Ensure materials are handled, stored and transferred safely to prevent damage, loss or incorrect handling.
• Cross-Functional Coordination - Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and smooth operations.
• Problem Solving - Identify warehouse and inventory issues and follow up on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Continuous Improvement - Support improvement activities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy and overall warehouse operations.
