Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Clerk or similar role.
• Proficiency in entering data into inventory/warehouse management systems.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items.
• Strong verbal and written communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Knowledge of safety standards for operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter details of received goods into warehouse management systems, including item descriptions, quantities, and tracking numbers.
• Cross-check delivery notes, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure items match orders.
• Prepare and process paperwork for receipt of goods, including receipts and stock movement documents.
• Liaise with suppliers to verify shipment details and resolve discrepancies.
• Inform clients about inbound goods status and any delays.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all goods received and filing.
• Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones and emails.
• Ensure documents like shipping manifests and inspection reports are completed per policies.
• Prepare discrepancy or damage reports when goods do not match orders or are damaged.
• Manage time to meet daily deadlines for processing and reporting.
• Assist in updating inventory records after goods are received.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on received goods status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with Supervisors and team members.
