Job summary

EY Logistics Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Lead to manage daily warehouse activities at our Port Klang site, ensuring efficient unloading, receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch. You will direct the Logistic Planner, allocate manpower, and optimize space and equipment to meet deadlines.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Logistics or related field, with 5+ years in warehouse or logistics and at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in warehouse or logistics with 2 years in supervision.
• Experience in manpower planning, shipment scheduling and warehouse performance management.
• Experience in e-commerce fulfilment, container handling and managing foreign workers is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle high shipment volumes and flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including unloading, receiving, storage, picking, packing, sorting and dispatch.
• Supervise Logistic Planner and allocate workloads based on stock and deadlines.
• Manage manpower, space and equipment to meet needs and prevent backlogs.
• Lead warehouse teams including supervisors, operators and foreign workers.
• Maintain accurate stock and shipment records and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Transport, Fleet and Customer Service for timely dispatch and resolve shipment issues.
• Monitor KPIs and report improvement actions to management.
• Implement SOPs and safety standards; improve warehouse systems and workflows.

About the Role

Lead warehouse operations and logistics planning for our logistics, e-commerce fulfilment and distribution business. Drive efficient shipment processing, manpower productivity, stock accuracy and timely dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations, including container unloading, receiving, storage, picking, packing, sorting and dispatch. Supervise the Logistic Planner to plan workloads based on available stock, incoming shipments, pending orders and delivery deadlines. Allocate manpower, warehouse space and equipment to meet operational needs and prevent backlogs. Lead and develop warehouse teams, including supervisors, operators and foreign workers. Maintain accurate stock and shipment records, and resolve missing parcels, discrepancies, damages and returns. Coordinate with Transport, Fleet and Customer Service to ensure timely dispatch and resolve shipment issues. Control operating costs, overtime and resource utilisation while improving productivity. Implement SOPs, enforce safety standards and improve warehouse systems and workflows. Monitor operational KPIs, review planned versus actual output and report improvement actions to management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Candidates with substantial relevant experience are welcome to apply. At least 5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in manpower planning, shipment scheduling and managing warehouse performance. Experience in e-commerce fulfilment, container handling and managing foreign workers is an advantage. Familiar with warehouse management systems, shipment tracking and Microsoft Excel. Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills. Able to manage high shipment volumes and work flexible hours when required.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
