inter island group in Gelang Patah, Malaysia, is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to lead and schedule warehouse staff, overseeing receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch to meet daily targets.
The role requires 3–5 years in warehouse/logistics, with 1–2 years in supervision, and a Diploma/Degree in logistics or related field. Proficiency in ERP/WMS (SAP advantageous) and MS Excel is essential; English and Bahasa Malaysia are required. Forklift license is a plus.

Supervise and schedule warehouse staff (storekeepers, forklift operators, packers, drivers) and ensure daily targets are met. Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch activities according to SOPs. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock takes, and investigation of variances. Coordinate with procurement, production, planning, and customer service on stock availability and delivery schedules. Arrange and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, including coordination with transporters, freight forwarders, and customs agents where required. Maintain accurate documentation (DO, GRN, packing lists, shipping documents) and ensure data is updated in the ERP/WMS system. Monitor warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, stock accuracy, and space utilisation, and report to management. Optimise warehouse layout, storage utilisation, and workflow to improve efficiency. Enforce 5S, workplace safety, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA/DOSH). Ensure proper use and maintenance of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet trucks). Train, coach, and evaluate team members, and handle attendance and discipline matters. Identify issues and propose corrective actions and continuous improvement ideas.
Requirements Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse processes, and logistics documentation. Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP is an advantage) and proficiency in MS Excel. Knowledge of import/export procedures and Incoterms is an advantage. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Valid forklift license is an advantage. Willing to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required.
