Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all warehouse activities, coordinate logistics processes, and ensure the quality of goods and documentation. You will supervise staff, train teams, set priorities, and drive productivity to meet client KPIs.

You will manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping, conduct regular stock checks, and implement inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in logistics management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics principles.
• 5 years of related experience in FMCG.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English & Chinese.
• Good team leadership and organizational skills.
• Proven experience coordinating and operating warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure smooth workflow by assigning tasks, setting priorities, monitoring progress, and reporting.
• Oversee receiving, inspection and storage of goods with quality adherence.
• Coordinate picking, packing and shipping for timely and accurate fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock movements and transactions.
• Monitor costs and implement cost-effective strategies to improve efficiency.
• Enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor cold room temperatures and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure regular housekeeping and clean warehouse environment.
• Meet customer and management KPIs.
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

Oversee the receipt, inspection and storage of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

Coordinatethepicking,packing,andshippingoforders,ensuringtimelyand accuratefulfilment.

Maintainaccuraterecordsof inventorylevels, stockmovements,andwarehousetransactions.

Monitor operational costs and implement cost-effective strategies to enhance the efficiency of the operations.

Implementandenforcesafetyprocedurestoensureasafeworking environment.

Monitor and maintain cold room temperatures, ensuring they meet industry standards and comply with regulatory requirements

To walk the warehouse, ensure regular housekeeping, and keep the warehouse clean.

WarehouseEfficiencyandProcessImprovement:

Identifyopportunitiesforprocessimprovementsandimplementbestpracticestoenhancewarehouse efficiency.

Streamlineworkflows,eliminatebottlenecks,andoptimizespaceutilization

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, operations, and customer service, to ensure smooth coordination and order fulfilment.

Continuously monitor industry trends and technology advancements to enhance warehouse operations.

To read and understand warehouse procedures, train staff, ensure compliance, and update warehouse procedures whenever warehouse processes change.

Ensure a proper and efficient filling system of all documents for easy and systematic retrieval

TeamLeadershipandCommunication:

Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, management, and other stakeholders to clearly understand goals, objectives, and expectations.

EXPERIENCE&QUALIFICATION

Degree / Diploma in Logistics management and other related field.

Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics principles.

5yearsof relatedexperience in FMCG.

Abilitytoworkunderpressure.
