Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Manager to maintain high operations efficiency across all warehouse divisions, including logistics, receiving, QA, picking, and packing. The role requires coordinating inter-department collaboration and reshuffling the workforce to meet workflow demands.

You will manage manpower, budgeting, and scheduling, overseeing deliveries and stock takes while ensuring timely goods movements and expiry-date control.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Warehousing KPIs.
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
• Leadership and staff management abilities.
• Willing to work long hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Multitasking and organizing abilities.
• Bahasa Cina proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high operations efficiency for all divisions in the warehouse and ensure harmony among inter-department teams.
• Manage operations manpower and arrange covers for MC/EL staff; reshuffle workforce as needed.
• Control warehouse expenses including headcount cost and budgeting.
• Oversee lorries, delivery schedules and route rosters for drivers.
• Conduct monthly stock takes for fast-moving items and quarterly/biannual full stock takes.
• Ensure timely outbound deliveries, inbound goods, and stock returns.
• Conduct daily briefings and task assignments for warehouse team.
• Manage expiry dates for perishable and non-perishables.
• Forecast operational volume and reallocate staff as business needs change.

Maintain high operations efficiency for all divisions in the warehouse, including logistics, receiving, QA, picking, and packing teams. Ensuring harmony, cooperation and team work of inter-department and teams

Manage operations manpower, arranging covers for MC/EL staff by understanding each team and departments’ operation and process workflow, reshuffle workforce when necessary

Manage warehouse overall warehouse operations expenses such as headcount cost and budgeting, tools and equipment costing etc.

Oversee lorries, delivery schedules rosters for lorry drivers and delivery route maps.

Warehouse stock management by arranging stock take every month on fast moving item, and every 3-6 months for full stock take.

Ensure timely arrangements for both outgoing deliveries, incoming goods received and stock returns

Conduct daily briefing and tasks assignment for warehouse team.

Calibrate and take full charge of the management of goods expiry date for both food, poison and non- food items

Monitor incoming and forecast operational volume while maximizing efficiency by re-allocation (temporary or permanent) of staff according to business needs

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Candidates fluent in Bahasa Cina preferred as the role requires the candidate to deal with counterparts conversing in Bahasa Cina
• Willing to work in long hours included weekends and public holidays (if needed)
• Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
