Job summary

Kontena Nasional Berhad is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Yard Supervisor in Malaysia to oversee daily operations and lead a team across the warehouse and yard. You will ensure safety standards, drive process improvements, and maintain accurate inventory systems.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in warehouse and yard operations, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on warehouse and yard operations experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication to manage a team and interact with vendors/clients.
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience inWarehouse and Yard operations.
• Leadership & Communication:Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and interact with vendors and clients.
• Proactive & Independent:A self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• IT Proficiency:Must be IT literate and highly proficient in basic office software (e.g., MS Office); experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
• Organizational Skills:A highly organized individual with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and pay strong attention to detail.
• Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
