Job summary

YPS Technology is seeking a warehouse operative to receive, inspect, and store goods, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. You will manage stock movements, assist in stock counts, and support departments with timely material supply.

This role requires keeping the warehouse clean and safe while following health and safety procedures. You may assist with loading/unloading and preparation for delivery or collection as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and materials and check them against delivery orders or purchase orders
• Inspect items for quantity, condition, and accuracy upon receipt
• Arrange and store goods properly according to the company's storage procedures
• Maintain proper labelling and organisation of warehouse stock
• Prepare and issue materials to the relevant departments or project teams
• Record all stock movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, and returns
• Assist with monthly stock counts and inventory reconciliation
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor when items need to be replenished
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and safe at all times
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required
• Prepare items for delivery or collection to ensure the correct items are dispatched
• Maintain proper documentation such as delivery orders, goods received notes, stock issue records, and inventory records
• Assist in identifying damaged, missing, or obsolete stock and report such issues to the supervisor.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures when handling goods and equipment
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
