Job summary

Ultimate Machining Solutions in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced warehouse operator to manage inventory flows, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate stock records across facilities.

You will sort, package, and audit items, update logs, and support audits while maintaining safety and housekeeping. This role requires a Diploma in warehouse management and SAP experience, plus willingness to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in warehouse management or equipment with 5 years’ hands on experience.
• Experience in ERP / SAP system.
• License or certification to operate heavy machinery as needed (Forklift). Valid driver’s license class D (Optional)
• Able to pass a drug test/ background check. Physically able to lift.
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift.
• Able to work overtime, night, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with inventory software and able to upload data into the company system.
• Sustains the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues.
• Able to work independently and multi-tasking.
• Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory.
• Highly organized and able to store to store items efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory and materials across facilities. Process inventory for delivery.
• Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location.
• Inspect items to ensure they’re not damaged or faulty.
• Package items and label correctly. Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
• Scan delivered items and ensure desired quality and quantity.
• Stack and organize large bulk items.
• Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver to proper location.
• Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
• Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other location.
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory.
• Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards for aisles.
• Maintain good housekeeping all the time in warehouse.
• Report any discrepancies immediately.
• Work as an active team member to complete the team goals.
• Prepare documentation and inventory for audits.
• Any other task assigned by management.
