Job summary

Future Food SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Gelang Patah, Johor. The role focuses on overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring safety and accuracy in order fulfilment to support timely deliveries.

You will supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive efficiency improvements while coordinating with logistics, sales and finance teams. A forklift certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and order fulfilment processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Supervise warehouse staff: scheduling, training, performance monitoring, disciplinary matters.
• Ensure health and safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records using WMS.
• Conduct quality checks on products and packaging to maintain standards.
• Optimize layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage equipment maintenance and report defects or hazards.
• Liaise with logistics, sales and finance to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance and identify improvement areas.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve order/delivery issues.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Future Food SDN. BHD. in Gelang Patah, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehousing and distribution facility. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage staff, and ensure that all activities comply with safety standards and company procedures. This role is essential to maintaining our commitment to timely and accurate order fulfilment whilst upholding the highest standards of warehouse management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods


• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring and disciplinary matters


• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies across the warehouse facility


• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems


• Conduct regular quality checks on products and packaging to ensure standards are maintained


• Optimise warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs


• Manage equipment maintenance and report any defects or safety hazards immediately


• Liaise with other departments including logistics, sales and finance to ensure smooth operations


• Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement


• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries

What we’re looking for

• At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role within the logistics or distribution sector


• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control and order fulfilment processes


• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)


• Proven leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff


• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards


• Good communication skills in English and Malay, both written and verbal


• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting and standing for extended periods


• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is highly desirable


• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations
