About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Logistics Coordinator to join the team at FUTURE FOOD SDN. BHD. in Gelang Patah, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehousing, storage and distribution activities. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of goods through our facility, maintaining accurate records, and supporting our logistics operations to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations. This position is integral to our supply chain success and offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in a dynamic logistics environment.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods within the warehouse facility
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock levels are monitored regularly
• Liaising with transport providers, suppliers and customers to arrange shipments and deliveries
• Preparing and processing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and delivery notes
• Monitoring delivery schedules and tracking shipments to ensure timely distribution
• Identifying and resolving logistical issues and discrepancies in a timely manner
• Supporting warehouse operations by coordinating staff activities and resource allocation
• Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with storage and handling procedures

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in logistics coordination, warehousing or supply chain operations
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and logistics software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and support colleagues
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within a warehouse setting
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational requirements
• Preferably, experience with customs clearance and import/export documentation would be advantageous
