Job summary

RAKAN is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Malaysia to handle incoming and outgoing stock, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safe storage and cleanliness of the warehouse. You will receive stock, pick/pack/dispatch orders, load/unload using pallets/jacks or forklift if licensed, and conduct regular stock checks and label/store inventory in stock control systems.

Requirements include a minimum SPM/Diploma and at least 2 years in warehouse operations, with strong listening/communication,

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift or other MHE

Responsibilities

Job description

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation, and keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

In this role, you will:

Receive and process incoming stock and materials.

Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently.

Load and unload delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment (e.g, pallet jacks, forklift if licensed).

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.

Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.

Label store, and track inventory using stock control systems.

Assist with inventory control and stock rotation.

Comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.

To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by the employer or any other person by or under OSHA 1994 or any regulation made there under (section 24: General duties of employees at work, OSHA 1994.

Ensure Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is inspected daily and used properly.

Responsible to take care of company assets and ensure all are in a good condition.

Strictly adhere to the Company Handbook and memo issued by Human Resources (HR).

Any additional tasks as assigned by the superior.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in warehouse operations

Strong listening and communication skills

Computer and system literacy (OMS/WMS/TMS)

Ability to operate Materials Handling Equipment (Forklift, Reach Truck, Power Pallet).
