Job summary

Rakanda Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable retail supervisor in Malaysia to manage department goods, ensure FIFO, and uphold pricing/display standards. You will monitor sales trends and support the purchasing team with timely feedback.

The role emphasizes maintaining department cleanliness, promoting professionalism, and training staff. Prior leadership experience in retail or F&B is advantageous and you will serve as deputy during the Outlet Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in retail or F&B, with prior experience as a senior staff or team leader (an added advantage).

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of goods within one department following company procedures.
• Ensure FIFO when stacking goods and monitor stock movements.
• Provide timely feedback on sales and customer purchase trends to the purchasing team.
• Maintain correct pricing and display of merchandise per company standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of department area and store; promote staff professionalism in retail operations.
• Guide and ensure smooth department operations and train new and existing staff as required.
• Act as deputy to manage store in the absence of Outlet Manager/Assistant Outlet Manager.

To ensure FIFO sequence when stacking up the goods

To monitor and feedback timely on the sales trend and customer purchase trend to the purchasing team

To ensure pricing and display of merchandise items are correct and up to the Company's standard

To ensure cleanliness of department area and store

Promotes professionalism of staff in the retail operation department

To guide and ensure the system for overall department activities is in good order

To assist in proving on-the-job training for new and existing staff when required

Deputies to manage store in the absence of Outlet Manager/Assistant Outlet Manager
