Job summary

LINKTEL TECHNOLOGIES SDN.BHD. is seeking a logistics/operations professional to coordinate shipments, respond to inquiries, and streamline supply chain processes in Penang, Malaysia.

You will review orders, arrange shipping, track issues, and manage budgets while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in production or project management, with familiarity in import/export procedures, shipping documents (CI, PL, BL), and customs declarations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years or more of experience in production or project management.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures, shipping documentation (CI, PL, BL), and customs declarations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve logistics bottlenecks and shipping errors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of LMW (Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse) procedures and compliance is an advantage.
• Proficient in office software and ERP software (e.g., SAP); experience with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and writing proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin for liaising with people across all levels and preparing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
• Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to proper channels.
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Make special shipping arrangements as necessary.
• Track and resolve shipping errors.
• Prepare bills and invoices.
• Manage distribution and shipment budgets.
• Ensure the quality of all services provided meet the required standards.
• Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
• Handle LMW issues, including generating monthly reports for submission to Customs and updating forms A1, A2, A3, etc.
