Job summary

LINKTEL TECHNOLOGIES SDN.BHD. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle, from design to production.

You will investigate issues, perform root cause analyses using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone, implement CAPA, and collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to improve reliability.

Candidates with 2–5 years in EMS QA, a relevant degree, and fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within an EMS manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English, with strong communication skills.
• Experience handling customer audits and managing RMA processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Production to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare reports for management review.
• Assist internal and external quality audits and promote continuous improvement.

Job description

Ensure product quality meets customer, regulatory, and company requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Investigate product quality issues, customer complaints, and RMA cases by conducting root cause analysis using quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Analyze quality data, customer feedback, yield, and defect trends to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous quality enhancement.

Support New Product Introduction (NPI), product qualification, validation, engineering changes (ECO), and product transfer activities to ensure quality requirements are achieved.

Develop, implement, and maintain product quality standards, inspection criteria, control plans, and quality documentation.

Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Production teams to resolve product quality issues and improve product reliability and manufacturability.

Oversee incoming material quality and support supplier quality improvement initiatives, including the management of non-conforming materials.

Monitor product performance through quality metrics and KPIs, and prepare reports for management review.

Support internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other applicable quality management system requirements.

Conduct quality-related training and promote continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within an EMS manufacturing environment are preferred.
