Job summary

Linktel Technologies is seeking an engineer to support Transfer Product Introduction (TPI) activities, coordinate documentation, and ensure a smooth move to mass production of optical transceiver products. You will work with the TPI Leader and cross-functional teams to optimize processes and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2 years' experience, Mandarin and English proficiency, and knowledge of MES, FMEA, and Control Plans, with hands-on transceiver

Job description

1. Assist the TPI Leader to coordinate and execute the TPI (Transfer Product Introduction) activities, and manage the information (such as product quality and reliability) and documents related to the transferred product.

2. Assist the TPI Leader to manage transferred product introduction projects until mass production, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget adherence.

3. Plan and optimize the production capacity, process flow and production layout for the transferred product to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness and quality.

4. Identify and prepare the necessary equipment, tooling, and materials for running production.

5. Improve the product yield, analyze the root cause of product defects, and drive the improvement plan to achieve the yield target.

6. Assist the R&D Team in small-batch verification of cost-reduction solutions such as using alternative product material and alternative solution.

7. Allocate resources to achieve the production capacity target for the transferred product.

8. Coordinate pilot production runs and prototypes to test and validate manufacturing processes.

9. Ensure transferred products and manufacturing processes comply with internal quality standards and relevant industry regulations.

10. Responsible to update the PFMEA when there is any change or improvement to the process.

11. Identify and mitigate potential risks during the production introduction lifecycle.

12. Provide technical support to the manufacturing floor during the initial production ramp up.

13. Coordinate the resources to resolve technical or quality issues that arise post-transfer.

14. Facilitate knowledge transfer and training to production teams.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering with minimum 2 years working experience in engineering or manufacturing, preferably in optical industry or semiconductor industry.

2. Good communication skill, coordination skill and team work for collaborating with team members, reporting issues, and providing technical support.

3. Knowledge in Statistical Method, FMEA and Control Plan will be an advantage.

4. Knowledge in assembling and/or testing the Transceiver will be an advantage.

5. Knowledge in MES and project management will be an advantage.

6. Required languages: Mandarin, English and etc. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
