Job summary

Quintus Search in Malaysia is seeking a strategic Head of HR for a major manufacturing client. You will lead leadership development and culture transformation, elevating HR capabilities to align with business goals.

You will shape policies, labour relations strategies, and learning & development programs, while ensuring compliance and an inclusive workplace across the organization. Experience in multinational environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
• Substantial leadership experience in managing the HR function within a manufacturing organization; union experience valuable.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and learning & development models.
• Solid grasp of local labour laws and regulations related to industrial relations.
• Operational familiarity with managing various HR aspects; multinational experience preferred.

Requirements

• Substantial leadership experience in managing the HR function within a manufacturing organization, preferably with experience in handling unions in the Malaysian manufacturing context, will be valuable.
• Strong technical skills in HR policies, practices, and learning & development models are essential, along with comprehensive knowledge of local labour laws and regulations related to industrial relations management.
• Operational familiarity and proficiency in managing various operational HR aspects are required, and experience in a multinational corporation is preferred.
