Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in HR or related field; 3-5 years HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and labour regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Discretion handling confidential information.
• Proactive in employee engagement and conflict resolution.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, attendance, and leave.
• Oversee employee relations, performance reviews, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Develop HR policies, SOPs, handbooks, and organisation charts.
• Lead manpower planning, talent acquisition and succession planning.
• Ensure payroll, statutory contributions and HR documentation are accurate.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and company policies.
• Provide strategic HR guidance to senior management.
• Lead, mentor and manage the HR team.
• Prepare and manage the HR department budget.
• Support long-term company objectives through HR initiatives.

Job description

• Manage the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, attendance, leave, employee relations, performance management, training and HR administration
• Develop, implement and improve HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, organisation charts and internal processes
• Manage manpower planning, recruitment and talent acquisition according to business requirements
• Oversee employee performance evaluations, KPI reviews, confirmation, promotion and disciplinary matters
• Ensure payroll, statutory contributions and HR documentation are accurate and completed on time
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, company policies and HR best practices
• Manage employee training, development and succession planning
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR reports for management
• Lead, mentor, and manage the HR team, ensuring a high level of professionalism and efficiency
• Prepare and manage the department's budget effectively
• Provide strategic HR guidance to senior management and support the company's long-term objectives
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, labour regulations and industrial relations practices
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to employee engagement and conflict resolution
