Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a Vice President, Client Onboarding Lead Analyst to guide end-to-end onboarding projects for complex client deals, coordinating across Sales, Product, Technology, Risk and Legal.

The role requires strategic oversight, governance, and a trusted advisory relationship with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with policy. Strong PM skills, stakeholder management, and knowledge of cash and liquidity products are essential;

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in client onboarding or a related field.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and senior stakeholder presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Cash and Liquidity (LMS) products implementation.
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Proj Management Certification (PMI or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end onboarding of complex client deals per project management methodology.
• Oversee client onboarding activities end-to-end across multiple deals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Product, Technology, Risk, Legal and other teams.
• Be sole point of contact for clients and internal partners to ensure delivery.
• Develop tailored project plans with milestones and governance.
• Establish governance to deliver client requirements and quality standards.
• Reduce onboarding cycle time and report project status.
• Maintain client relationships and act as trusted advisor.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and governance bodies.
• Manage risk and escalate issues per policy.
