United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a Business Engagement Manager to act as a Virtual Relationship Manager for Emerging Enterprise and SME customers. You will manage a dedicated portfolio, drive growth through proactive engagement, and deepen relationships with banking solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year in banking or related fields, with strong communication and customer engagement skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in banking, financial services, sales, relationship management or customer engagement.
• Experience in SME banking, portfolio management or financial-product sales would be an advantage.
• Good understanding of SME banking products, particularly CASA, Trade Finance, digital banking, payments and Bancassurance.

Aufgaben

• Manage an assigned portfolio of Emerging Enterprise / SME customers through proactive outbound engagement.
• Build and deepen customer relationships as a Virtual Relationship Manager, serving as a key point of engagement for customers within the assigned portfolio.
• Develop and execute portfolio farming strategies to strengthen customer relationships and increase product penetration.
• Identify customer needs and proactively pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities across relevant banking solutions.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement, product utilization and overall relationship value.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify opportunities, customer needs and potential areas requiring follow-up.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers, Sales, Product and internal support teams to facilitate customer requests and business opportunities.
• Provide customers with appropriate product information and guidance and connect them with relevant product specialists where required.
• Maintain accurate records of customer engagements, opportunities and follow-up actions.
• Support the broader objectives of the Emerging Enterprise business by contributing to portfolio growth, customer retention and relationship deepening.
