Responsibilities

• Allocate rooms for arriving guests according to reservation criteria, including VIP, special requests, group arrivals, and air crew.
• Personally greet arriving VIP guests and update FOM/GM on arrival and departure.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to ensure vacant/clean rooms are ready for immediate occupancy.
• Keep hotel information (promotions, outlet menus, operating hours) accessible for guest inquiries.
• Communicate with Outgoing Supervisor at shift start and ensure issues are followed through.
• Communicate with Incoming Supervisor at shift end and address urgent issues.
• Assist guest inquiries for restaurant reservations and local attractions; maintain brochures.
• Establish Standard Operating Procedures for the department and ensure policy compliance.
• Initiate programs to improve procedures and systems to boost productivity and guest satisfaction.
• Assist the FOM to prepare Concierge Department expenditure budget annually.
• Ensure car park, driveways, entrances, lobby, lounge and lifts are neat and orderly.
• Maintain high staff morale and strong oral communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
