The role requires following standard operating procedures, prioritising vacant rooms, and recording duties accurately with times and reports to the Housekeeping Office. You will also manage linen, Lost & Found, and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sign out key and ensure possession of keys at all times; do not lend.
• Select rooms from the report. Clean vacant dirty rooms first and then service occupied rooms, tick off completed rooms with the starting and finishing time.
• Clean rooms as specified and report any discrepancy status to Housekeeping Office immediately.
• Report any maintenance defects promptly to Housekeeping Office with room number, staff name and exact location of the problem.
• Fill up the soiled linen report for each room when cleaned; total up columns accurately after all rooms are completed.
• Follow Lost & Found Policy for items found in guest rooms; contact Housekeeping Office, describe item, place in a bag on the housekeeping trolley with the Lost & Found docket.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
