Job summary

FORTUNE VALLEY SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee guest room and corridor presentation, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and order across the property.

You will conduct daily inspections of stores and equipment, report maintenance needs, manage Lost & Found, and participate in pre-shift briefings. Strong leadership and communication are essential to address guest and staff concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and corridors daily and ensure presentation and maintenance standards are achieved.
• Conduct daily inspection of store rooms and housekeeping equipment; report on maintenance or replacement needs.
• Complete all required reports at the end of the day and ensure all master keys are kept safely in the Housekeeping Office.
• Attend daily pre-shift briefing and regular departmental communication meetings.
• Investigate and handle all complaints from guests and staff; submit reports to the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Housekeeper accordingly.
• Make recommendations on personnel and equipment; and any other procedures as may be required.
• Report Lost & Found incidences and administer the appropriate Lost & Found policy.
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
