About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Van Salesman to join the team at YOON SOON (M) SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Skudai, Johor, offering an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth whilst managing your own mobile sales operation. As a Van Salesman, you will be the face of our company, taking our products and services directly to customers across the region. This role is crucial to our business expansion strategy and offers the independence of working from a mobile sales unit whilst maintaining strong connections with our headquarters and support team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the company van to visit existing and potential customers within the Skudai, Johor territory
• Demonstrate and promote products or services to customers with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Generate sales leads and convert them into confirmed orders
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions and inventory levels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• Handle cash and payment collections from customers in a secure and professional manner
• Keep the van clean, well-maintained and organised for optimal product presentation
• Report daily sales figures, customer feedback and market insights to management
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries and complaints
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators

What we’re looking for

• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
• Proven sales experience, preferably in a field sales or mobile sales environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory
• Reliable, punctual and professional demeanour
• Ability to lift and carry stock, as the role may involve handling products
• Familiarity with the Johor region and its customer base is advantageous
• Positive attitude towards customer service and achieving sales objectives
