About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Van Salesman to join the sales team at Merry Kingdom Sdn Bhd (Penang). This is a full-time position based in Kedah, where you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. As a Van Salesman, you will be responsible for selling our products directly to clients whilst managing your mobile sales territory. This position is essential to our business strategy, as you will be the face of our company in the field, building lasting customer relationships and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the company van to designated sales territories and customer locations throughout Kedah
• Present and demonstrate products to potential and existing customers
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers
• Take customer orders and process sales transactions accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer queries and concerns
• Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on product features and benefits
• Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities and follow-ups
• Monitor inventory levels in the van and restock as necessary
• Report sales progress, market feedback and competitor information to management
• Maintain the van in good condition and ensure compliance with vehicle safety standards
