CSC Steel Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance professional to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers and utilities.
You will inspect and troubleshoot equipment, supervise contractors, and ensure safety and EMS compliance during scheduled shutdowns. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with experience in boiler systems and a Boilerman Certificate as an advantage.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance during scheduled equipment shutdowns.
Perform daily inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of boilers, utilities, and related equipment according to Engineer's instructions.
Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the work area.
Identify, report, and assist in resolving equipment abnormalities or failures.
Comply with all industrial safety rules, procedures, and company policies.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
Perform all duties in accordance with the Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures.
Participate in environmental, safety, and continuous improvement activities organized by the company.
Carry out tasks assigned by immediate superior and complete them within the required timeframe.
Report any emergency, unsafe condition, or equipment abnormality to the superior immediately.
Supervise and coordinate contractors performing maintenance or outsourcing works.
Assist in boiler operation, utilities system monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives when required.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent working experience.
Experience in boiler, steam system, utilities, or industrial equipment maintenance is an added advantage.
Possession of a valid Boilerman Certificate (Grade1) is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of pumps, compressors, cooling towers, air compressors, steam systems, and piping is preferred.
Able to read basic engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Willing to work overtime, during scheduled shutdowns, or on standby when required.
